Some folks have contacted us about how to order an eightCubed – the simple answer is you can’t yet. We’ve sold out of eightCubed v2.3 kits. But, v2.4 is just about in production! With the finalisation of our casing design and new Delcon controllers on their way, we’re anticipating the next kits available just after the New Year.
When the time does come to order an eightCubed kit, they will be available in our store. A casing is necessary to assemble an eightCubed – some people prefer to make their own casing. We completely support that and encourage makers to customise our products. However, for those that do not want to build their own casing, our case product will be available as a separate item in our store. These two products together will let anyone create a fully-functional LED cube with all the trimmings.
In addition to separating the casing and cube kits, we will offer the Delcon controllers and lattice materials as separate products. Again, we are doing this to support the people who wish to customise their cube.
